Rangers sign Elvis Andrus for three years?

Texas Rangers GM Jon Daniels isn't talking about it, but the Dallas Morning News hears from an inside source that the team has signed shortstop Elvis Andrus for three more seasons.

In the three years Andrus has been in the bigs, he has stolen 102 bases, scored 256 runs, batted .271, and made it to one All-Star game.

The 23-year-old Venezuelan was scheduled to go to arbitration with the team this week. Andrus was asking for $3.6 million while the team was offering $2.65 million. The Morning News has it that the three-year deal, which will be finalized when Andrus passes a physical, is worth $15 million.
