Jazz open to trading Devin Harris

Point guard Devin Harris has appeared in 49 games for the Utah Jazz since being traded there from the New Jersey Nets at the deadline last year as part of the Deron Williams deal.

The Jazz have already seen enough of Harris. The Salt Lake Tribune reports that the team is "open to moving" the 29-year-old Harris and reserve small forward C.J. Miles "could be made available in the right situation."

No deal is imminent, the paper notes, and "Utah also doesn't feel pressure to move starting big men Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap to make room for young power forward Derrick Favors and center Enes Kanter in the near future."

Harris, an All-Star back in 2009, is averaging 9.3 points, 4.6 assists and 1.3 rebounds per game for the 15-18 Jazz, who are only 2.5 games out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
