Woman arrested after drunken, on-ice striptease at men’s rec league hockey game

On December 30, 2012, Tiffany and Brittany Hourie became the Thelma and Louise of the community of Pincher Creek, Alberta, breaking a number of laws in a wild night on the (very small) town.

Since this is rural Canada, not Arizona, the adventure didn't end with a defiant plunge into the Grand Canyon. Rather, the Houries' spree ended with a flash striptease at a men's hockey game.

The trouble began when an intoxicated Tiffany, 27, and Brittany, 21, side-swiped another vehicle while driving in the wrong lane, then sped off. The other driver, who was spared a head-on collision by swerving off the road to partially avoid them, called the police. The Pincher Creek RCMP set out to look for the perpetrators of the hit-and-run.

Eventually, they located the driver, a still-intoxicated Tiffany, as well as the car. But Brittany was no longer with her, and Tiffany wasn't being forthcoming about where she was.

Luckily, before the RCMP had done much looking, they got a call from the local hockey arena that an drunk woman was on the ice taking her clothes off. From the Pincher Creek Voice:

The passenger who was also intoxicated had been dropped off at the arena and then proceeded to make her way onto the ice and remove her clothing despite the employees objections, delaying a hockey game.

Tiffany Hourie has been charged with Impaired Operation of a motor vehicle, Leaving the scene of an accident, Refusal to provide a breath sample and other Provincial driving fines. Brittany Hourie has been charged with Indecent Acts, Obstruction of a Police officer and Causing a disturbance. Both women are expected to appear in court later this month.

Pro-tip for anyone that's ever on the run from the law. Lay low, and whatever you do, DON'T go to a hockey game and take your clothes off on the ice.

Thankfully, nobody was hurt in the accident, which allows us to laugh uproariously at this entire incident, which is the funniest thing to happen in Pincher Creek since the day they decided to name their town Pincher Creek. It helps that Constable Robert Wright of the Pincher Creek RCMP gave some great quotes to The Calgary Herald. Here he is describing just how far the 21-year-old's striptease went:

“She got down to her undergarments. If she took anything more off, we haven’t been informed yet,” said Wright.

“We’re still in the process of gathering the surveillance tapes now. Lord only knows what we’ll see."

Wright also gives us the most Canadian quote ever, making it clear that he's not the only one who doesn't really care to see Brittany's stripshow. Here he is describing how the men's league players reacted to the sudden interruption:

“As she was doing that, I think they were a little more (annoyed) it was delaying the hockey game.”

Ah, Canadians. Put your clothes back on! We're trying to play hockey here!

In closing, I would have loved to hear the call from the rec centre to the police.

"Hi, I'm calling to report a woman stripping at our hockey game.

"Okay sir, what does she look like?"

"Well, she has a mole --"

"Forget it."
