Vancouver Canucks goaltenders Roberto Luongo and Cory Schneider have … let’s call it a complicated relationship.

They’re friends off the ice, which is pretty amazing when you consider that Schneider replaced Luongo as the Canucks starter last offseason, all but pushing Luongo out of Vancouver. That is until Schneider faltered early in 2013, Luongo – and his no-trade clause – returned to the crease with spectacular results. The two have shared goaltending duties throughout the season, as the hockey world waits for the situation to explode.

James Duthie of TSN (who has worked with Luongo before) sought to get to the bottom of the Luongo vs. Schneider rivalry. The results were … well, hilarious.

Be sure to stay through the outtakes at the end.

The bathroom stall scene was a legit LOLZ.

Great work by Duthie and the Canucks goalies. That was one Tim Thomas cameo away from being one of the greatest hockey things ever put to film.
