Tuesday’s Three Stars: Grabo’s big night; Perreault’s trick; dancing Bobrovsky; Pam Anderson in Vancouver

No. 1 Star: Mikhail Grabovski, Toronto Maple Leafs

Grabovski factored on all four of the Leafs' goals in their 4-3 win over the New York Islanders. He scored his 16th of the season in the third period, only to see P.A. Parenteau send the game to overtime with 13 seconds left in regulation. He also had the primary assists on goals by Jake Gardiner (his first career tally) and two by Clarke MacArthur, including the game-winner at 2:06 of OT. Jonas Gustavsson had 29 saves.

No. 2 Star: Mathieu Perreault, Washington Capitals

Without Alex Ovechkin or Nicklas Backstrom, Perreault picked up the slack for the Washington Capitals in a 5-3 win over the Boston Bruins. He notched his first career hat trick, earning him a shaving cream pie from Alex Ovechkin.

No. 3 Star: Kari Lehtonen, Dallas Stars

As coach Glen Gulutzan said: "Our best player was our goalie." Lehtonen made 27 saves and was great late in the third, preserving the lead established by Alex Goligoski's first-period goal for the 1-0 victory over the red-hot Anaheim Ducks.

Honorable mention: Pekka Rinne made 24 saves as the Nashville Predators rode first period goals by Craig Smith and Mike Fisher to a 3-1 win over the shorthanded Chicago Blackhawks. Rinne is now 12-1-0 since Dec. 28. … Carson McMillan's second career NHL goal proved to be the game-winner in the third period, as the Minnesota Wild defeated the Colorado Avalanche, 3-2. Kyle Brodziak had two assists. Justin Faulk scored his first NHL goal for the Wild, who broke an 11-game road winless streak. … Mike Smith made 32 saves while Radim Vrbata's 23rd of the season was the game-winner in the Phoenix Coyotes' 3-2 win over the Ottawa Senators. Daniel Alfredsson scored his 17th in the loss. … Pam Anderson was at the Canucks game:

In the night's most entertaining game, Chris Kunitz scored the game-winner in the shootout and Marc-Andre Fleury (32 saves) was brilliant throughout the Pittsburgh Penguins' 3-2 win over the St. Louis Blues. Patrik Berglund scored twice in the loss, including on a penalty shot. James Neal scored goal No. 27. … Antti Niemi only faced 11 shots in the first 40 minutes of the game, but closed out strong in the third period of the San Jose Sharks' 1-0 win over the Calgary Flames. Niemi made 25 saves for the game, including a breakaway stop on Alex Tanguay in the third, as Benn Ferriero's final frame tally stood up. … Claude Giroux's shootout goal proved to be the clincher, as the Philadelphia Flyers defeated the Florida Panthers, 3-2. Tomas Fleischmann scored his first goal since 2011. Scott Clemmensen (35 saves) was outdueled by Sergei Bobrovsky (23 saves), who got jiggy with it. Here's the techno remix:

Henrik Lundqvist stopped all 21 shots he faced and Ryan Callahan had a goal and an assist in the New York Rangers' 3-0 win over the Winnipeg Jets. … The Tampa Bay Lightning, decimated by injuries, won their fourth in a row thanks to a goal and an assist from both Vincent Lecavalier and Marty St. Louis, as well as Mike Angelidis's first NHL goal in his first NHL game. Mathieu Garon made 22 saves against his former team, defeating the Columbus Blue Jackets, 4-2. … Nathan Gerbe scored against Marty Brodeur to hand the New Jersey Devils only their second loss in 10 shootouts this season, 2-1. The Buffalo Sabres got a 27-save performance from Ryan Miller to snap their 12-game road losing streak. … Cody Hodgson scored the game-winner in the shootout, as the Vancouver Canucks defeated the Edmonton Oilers, 3-2. Daniel Sedin and David Booth had the Vancouver goals; Shawn Horcoff and Taylor Hall scored for the Oilers. … Tyler Seguin and Brad Marchand scored in the Bruins' loss.
