Dig deep enough into YouTube, and you eventually find a new source of gold. Such is the case with this forgotten segment from “The Late Show With David Letterman” in which the 1998 U.S. Olympic men’s hockey team revealed the “Top 10 Hockey Player Pick-Up Lines” from Nagano.

Make sure you’re not drinking coffee when we get to Brett Hull and No. 1.

What a cast of characters on that team: Tkachuk, Chelios, LaFontaine, Roenick, Guerin, Hull. Wonder if it was like living in a frat house over there. Oh, right, it totally was.

For the record, “Non-Stop Happenin’ Lady” was the runner-up to National Hockey League back in 1917.
