Team USA's Christian Fischer scores goal six seconds into USHL game (Video)

Team USA of the USHL didn’t need much time to take the lead against the Omaha Lancers Thursday night. Forward Christian Fischer forced a turnover off the opening face-off and scored six seconds into the game.

Yes, it was also a shorthanded goal as Team USA was given a penalty during warmups.

The goal set the USHL record for fastest to to begin a game, breaking the previous record of seven seconds shared by Dan Dwyer (1992) and Dakota Klecha (2012).

Fischer, who has committed to Notre Dame next season, added to assists for a three-point night and a 7-2 win over the Lancers.
