Sharks fans litter Brent Burns’ driveway with hats after hat trick (Photo)

Having Brent Burns in their lineup has proven to be a valuable thing for the San Jose Sharks this season. After Friday night's 6-3 win over the St. Louis Blues, the Sharks improved to 11-0-1 with him on the ice.

The scene at SAP Center was like that of so many other rinks after a hat trick with hats on the ice to celebrate Burns' 6th, 7th and 8th goals of the season. And when the forward returned to his home after the game, he found that some fans who couldn't attend the game still found a way to honor Burns' feat.

They tossed hats onto his driveway:

"The tank was amazing today, will never forget that! Thanks for all the texts and hats..Even in the driveway at home!," Burns Tweeted.

The "Wookie Trick," as Sharks fans dubbed it, was the first of Burns' career.

If this is the start of a trend, will there be snakes in a Phoenix Coyotes player's driveway next? Waffles for a Toronto Maple Leaf? Dead octopuses for a Detroit Red Wing?
