Rangers fan wins Game 1 tickets after getting Rick Nash image shaved into head (Photo)

Stanley Cup Playoff tickets are pretty tough to come by. All the games are sold out, so unless you're a season ticket holder or know someone with connections, you're stuck forking out for ducats whose price has been jacked up because of the high demand.

Before Game 1 of their series with the Philadelphia Flyers, the New York Rangers held a fan festival next to Madison Square Garden in New York City, and to help one lucky fan attend the game a contest was held.

It wasn't a trivia challenge or hardest shot competition. No, the Rangers were looking for hardcore fans brave enough to get something shaved into their heads. They found three worthy competitors, but only one stood out and he's a big Rick Nash fan:

It's creative with a good attention to detail, what with the facial coloring, visor and Bauer helmet.

For his hardcore fandom, the fan was rewarded not only with a ticket, but also a Rangers win after they took advantage of a Jason Akeson double-minor in the third period and pulled away for a 4-1 victory.

For Game 2 we're totally expecting someone to get a crying Mark Messier shaved into the back of their head.
