Five things to know about tonight's NHL games ...

1. Brooks Laich would prefer you ask other questions. "I really, honestly don’t care about the Ovechkin-Crosby rivalry," he said on Tuesday. Amen, Brooks.

2. Brandon Dubinsky out, Jack Skille in. Dubinsky injured his foot Tuesday night against the Oilers and will not play tonight. Dubinsky tried to skate this morning, but the foot wouldn't take it.

3. Teemu Selanne and Jaromir Jagr combine for greatness. According to the Ducks, Selanne and Jagr’s combined goal total (1,366) is the most between two players facing one another since Brett Hull met Luc Robitaille in Oct. 1995.

4. Double dose of booing for Senators fans. Both Matt Cooke and Dany Heatley return to Ottawa tonight and will likely get cold receptions. But who will hear it worse. Has to be Heatley, right?

5. Don't expect to see Rostislav Olesz. The forward was placed on unconditional waivers by the Devils today for the purpose of terminating his contract. The mutual decision clears the way for him to sign in Switzerland. Olesz had two assists in 10 games with New Jersey this season.

Bold Prediction: Teemu and Jaromir score, but the Finnish Flash gets the last laugh with a 4-1 win.
