For those teams that tanked and those teams that are just plain awful, tonight’s the night: The 2013 NHL Draft Lottery will be held on Monday night, with the winning lottery ball likely giving some team the honor of drafting defenseman Seth Jones first overall in New Jersey this June.

Remember: This is the first time all 14 clubs not qualifying for the playoffs will have a chance at winning the right to the first overall selection. Which is great news if your parent company also owns the NHL’s broadcast partner in the U.S.
