Pekka Rinne’s doorstep robbery denies Henrik Zetterberg a goal (VIDEO)

During the Nashville's 4-1 win over the Detroit Friday night, Pekka Rinne, much like he's been throughout his career, was phenomenal. The 29-year old Finn made 31 stops as the Predators moved ahead of the Red Wings and into the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference, for now.

Rinne's most vital save of the night occurred with Nashville holding a 1-0 lead late in the second period and Detroit on the power play. With Tomas Holmstrom screening in front, there was a scramble in front for the puck when it squirted out to Henrik Zetterberg who had a clear net. Rinne managed to locate the puck and get his glove over in time to deny an opportunity to even things up:

The win was the 42nd of the season for Rinne, who took the lead among goaltenders with Marc-Andre Fleury given the night off for Pittsburgh.
