Pass or Fail: Ottawa Senators’ Heritage Classic jersey

The Ottawa Senators won't visit the Vancouver Canucks to play in the 2014 Heritage Classic at BC Place until March 2, but it's never to early for a jersey reveal. We saw the New York Islanders do that Wednesday morning for their Stadium Series game in January.

Officially, the Senators will reveal their jerseys on Thursday, but Icethetics has gotten their hands on a full photo of them, after the team revealed some teasers over the past few weeks.

From the Senators:

The Heritage Classic game is a tribute to the 1915 Stanley Cup match where the Vancouver Millionaires (PCHA) faced the Ottawa Senators (NHA). This would be the first time that the champions from both professional leagues (east and west) would face off for the Stanley Cup.

What do you think?

As Icethetics points out, the jersey in the photo is likely a replica, which is why there are no Heritage Classic patch on it.

If you're thinking, "Hey, that's pretty much just a reverse of their current third jerseys" you'd be correct. And that's why this white one is just as good looking as the black ones the Senators wear several times a season.
