NY Rangers’ Ghostbusters goalie mask, complete with Stay Puft Marshmallow Man (PHOTOS)

Cam Talbot is in the New York Rangers' system, playing for the Connecticut Whale in the American Hockey League. After seeing his new mask, we have only one bit of advice: "Cam, if someone asks if you're a goalie you SAY YES."

Behold the latest work by goalie mask artist David Gunnarsson, who created this Ghostbusters-themed lid for Talbot, a former University of Alabama-Huntsville goalie who's been in the Rangers' system since 2010.

His new mask brings the awesome. Like, in biblical proportions. Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

Since it's a Blueshirts player, we're given a blue Slimer, with his ectoplasm spelling out "T-Bot" on the chin of the mask:

On the other side, the iconic Ghostbusters logo and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, who is seen gripping the top of the Rangers' Statue of Liberty logo.

(No word if that statue can be animated through the power of pink slime and positive thinking; although the less said about "Ghostbusters 2" the better, in some cases.)

We're still waiting to hear if the AHL will allow Talbot to wear an unlicensed nuclear accelerator on his back whenever he dons the mask; hell, at least let'em wear it for the shootout.

Meanwhile, we hope the New York Rangers are playing again so Talbot might have the chance to bring this mask to the NHL. Because if Lundqvist's down, and it don't look good, who ya gonna call?

Well, Marty Biron. And then probably Talbot.
