NHL Three Stars: Domi, Larkin remind everyone there are other rookies in the league

NHL Three Stars: Domi, Larkin remind everyone there are other rookies in the league

No. 1 Star: Max Domi, Arizona Coyotes

In his first NHL regular season tilt, Domi got his first point, first goal, and first multi-point game all out of the away against the Los Angeles Kings. Domi assisted on Oliver Ekman-Larsson's goal to put the Coyotes up 2-0 and followed it up with a laser of a goal past Jonathan Quick to go up 3-0.

No. 2 Star: Dylan Larkin, Detroit Red Wings

Like Domi, the youngster ticked off firsts in all categories listed above and added 'first time goal scored leads to a goalie being pulled' when he put the puck up and over the shoulder of Jonathan Bernier. Detroit goes up 3-0 and Bernier goes to the bench. Larkin led the Red Wings with 6 shots on goal.

No. 3 Star: Mats Zuccarello, New York Rangers

Zucc scored the opening goal and the goal to ice the game 4-2 for the New York Rangers. In 1:17, Oscar Lindberg, Kevin Hayes, and Zuccarello scored the game tying goal, the go-ahead goal, and the goal to ice it, leaving just a over a minute to play in the game.

Columbus's Alexander Wennberg took a hard hit and continued to play a couple shifts before he went to the locker room for good. He was diagnosed with a concussion ...
