Line brawl erupts in Sochi tuneup between USA, Canada women’s hockey teams (Video)

If hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, what does hell have when the scorned are two angry women's hockey teams?

Now we know. In a warm-up for Sochi, the US and Canadian women's hockey teams took to the ice in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and well, I don't think they like each other.

Following the game, Grand Forks Herald reporter Brad Elliott Schlossman gathered a couple quotes from those involved:

In total, there were 10 fighting majors assessed. The US women won the game 4-1. You can read Schlossman's recap of the game here.

There is no love lost between the US and Canada in hockey, regardless of gender. If anyone says female hockey players aren't tough like the guys, you have been officially dared to drop gloves with one of them at the rink.

Note: Puck Daddy cannot confirm or deny if David Backes was in Grand Forks. We don't have his phone number.
