Leafs fan’s shirt lets April Reimer know he didn’t make rude comment (Photo)

There was a gloriously awkward moment In Game 4 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals between the Boston Bruins and the Toronto Maple Leafs, after a Dion Phaneuf turnover led to the Bruins’ winning goal against Leafs goalie James Reimer. There appeared to be a moment when April Reimer, the goalie’s wife, looked back at Phaneuf’s fiancée, actress Elisha Cuthbert, and sneered after Cuthbert rolled her eyes.

Turns out it was all a big misunderstanding! April Reimer later tweeted that the two were reacting to “the jerk beside us #rudecomment.”

Well, someone at Game 6 on Sunday night wanted to make sure everyone knew he wasn’t behind the rude comment.

The shirt reads: “It Wasn’t Me #rudecomment.”

Glad he cleared that up.
