Jonathan Toews pulls off incredible trick shot with popped water bottle (Video)

Chicago Blackhawks center Jonathan Toews is one of the most accurate shooters in the NHL. We know this from him being quite good in past All-Star shooting accuracy competitions.

But we’ve never seen anything like the above video from Captain Serious.

With his NEXUS 1N stick, Toews pops a water bottle, then fires another shot that slams into said popped bottle, which is falling down through the air.

But how does it compare to other trick shots by NHL stars past and present?

•  There’s Wayne Gretzky’s trick shots montage, which were tremendous.

•  The trick shots at the NHL’s 2011 research and development camp, where Andreas Athanasiou became a household internet name.

•  P.K. Subban and his GoPro camera doing all sorts of trickery.

But how about Sidney Crosby showing some accuracy with a puck pyramid?

That's really good ... but Toews still has two more Stanley Cups than Crosby, so we'll give him the edge.
