Jonathan Quick sneaks autograph for fan during game (Video)

When you’re a goalie on the bench, you’ve really got nothing to worry about until the starter is slow to get up and the trainer has to come out. Backup quarterbacks have more to do, in the sense that at least they’re holding a clipboard.

So things can get a little boring. Which why we saw Ilya Bryzgalov entertain dozens of fans with selfies during a Minnesota Wild preseason game (well, that and he’s Ilya  Bryzgalov). And that’s why we imagine Jonathan Quick of the Los Angeles Kings took some time from a preseason game in Colorado Springs to sign an autograph for a fan.

As Next Impulse Sports points out, the palpable look of guilt on Quick’s face is sort of perfect, like he’s slipping a note during a quiz in high school history class. Like Darryl Sutter’s going to intercept it and read it to the team between periods.

Good thing he didn’t. Here’s an exclusive look at the note passed from Quick to the fan:

Scandalous!
