At least one Lundqvist won something this past weekend.

While Henrik Lundqvist and the New York Rangers bowed out of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in five games at the hands of the Pittsburgh Penguins, his twin brother Joel celebrated a championship.

Captaining Frolunda of the Swedish Hockey League, Joel Lundqvist led the side to a 4-1 series win over Skelleftea for the club’s fourth Le Mat Trophy and was given the honor of being painted up gold for a post-win photoshoot.

Via Aftonbladet, here’s a behind-the-scenes look at Lundqvist getting ready for his close-up:

The title was Lundqvist’s third with Frolunda, but first as team captain.

Joel wasn’t the first Lundqvist to get the gold paint treatment, however. Henrik got his Goldmember on after Frolunda’s 2005 title, which now forces us to ask the all-important question: “Who wore it better?”
