The NHL season has started, which means many, many fresh Jersey Fouls have come rolling into our email and sent to us via Twitter. Hence the return of Jersey Fouls of the Week, a column that will run throughout the year.

Thank goodness – you can only get so many of the same Connor McDavid fouls before they’re not funny anymore.

Check out the above person’s inability to spell ‘Quick’ on a Team USA jersey (@_sben88). Not sure what Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick (not Quack) thinks of that.

If you want to submit, make sure to email us at puckdaddyblog@yahoo.com or tweet to the hashtag #jerseyfoul. We’ll pick them up, and try to make sure to give credit where credit is due. We’ll throw them up on our Tumblr page!

3. A bedazzling Jonathan Toews

There’s just something wrong about doing this to a perfectly good Captain Serious jersey. (@rachiehawkie)

2. Kesler the ‘Kingslayer’

Is ‘Kingslayer’ a new Ryan Kesler nickname? At least that's what the Anaheim Ducks hope if Kesler can help them beat their arch nemesis in meaningful games this year. (@vince_nh)

1. Another Maple Leafs rebuild?

The Maple Leafs haven’t won a Stanley Cup since 1967, which makes this funny and creative. Also note the Starter and Western Conference tags on the bottom of the jersey. (@primesn590)
