San Jose Sharks defenseman Jason Demers actually wore this to their game against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday night (s/t Jeff Adams):

This was captured by CBC’s cameras, but the network labeled Demers as teammate Matt Nieto, even though Nieto is sans beard at this point in the season.

We’ll go ahead and assume this incredible fuchsia suit is related to October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with NHL teams rocking some pink to support the cause. In fact, Demers recently visited El Camino oncology center, calling the experience a “humbling” one.”
