Jaromir Jagr would like to pour you a cold one (VIDEO)
We're not even a full week into the NHL lockout, and Jaromir Jagr's been reduced working the taps at a beer concession.
WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF JAGS?!
We kid, of course, as Jagr is actually playing for HC Kladno, the hockey team he owns in the Czech Extraliga. This clip is the continuation of his ad campaign with Sazka, a transcontinental gambling company, in which Jagr works in a variety of different jobs.
Alas, this one doesn't hit the same high notes as Jaromir Jagr, firefigher tricked by sexy ladies; or Jaromir Jagr, pizza delivery boy; or Jaromir Jagr, superhero to the elderly. Those clips were all filmed in the U.S., where we may not understand irony but use it well in our advertising.
That said … quite the pour from Mr. Jagr there. (Wonder if it was Jagr Lager?) And luckily for the customer, this is 2012 and not 1992, which significantly decreases the chance that strands of dirty mullet hair will cascade into his beverage.
(And speaking of beverage … us, can you really get enormous glass pints at sporting events in Europe? Because if they can't hand out bats before Yankees games, we can't see how they hand out tall boy glasses at football matches.)
