Evander Kane and Alex Petrovic brawl three times in Panthers win (Video)

Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane believed he beat Florida Panthers defenseman Alex Petrovic in their first two fights during their game against each other. And Kane wanted to publicly let the First Niagara Center crowd know exactly how he felt.

After their second tussle, Kane appeared pumped up, and flashed a sign with his hands, denoting he was ‘2-0’ against Petrovic in their two brawls. Kane and Petrovic would go one more time. Kane would receive a game misconduct for their third fight. It was the first time the same players hooked up for three fights in one game since Bob Probert and Jody Shelly on Jan. 10, 2002.

Here is their first fight, which came almost two minutes into the second period.

Here is their final fight of the evening midway through the third.

Kane finished the game, a 7-4 loss to Florida, with 29 penalty minutes and one goal. His final fight came shortly after his goal at the 10:14 mark of the third period.

Petrovic scored a goal, added an assist and also had 29 penalty minutes.

These are Kane’s first three fights of the of the season, according to Hockey Fights. In 44 games with the Sabres, Kane has 21 points and 14 goals. He was acquired by Buffalo from the Winnipeg Jets last season.
