David Backes’ #RoarBacon pig pooped in Ken Hitchcock’s office
The St. Louis Blues’ new rallying cry, which went viral on Wednesday night, reached a new level Friday afternoon. Two days after #RoarBacon became a thing, captain David Backes brought a pig into the locker room for his teammates to meet.
The pig’s name? Piggy Smalls, of course.

Did you notice the initial look of fear in Magnus Paajarvi’s face?
It was Backes' goal, you'll recall, that led to the Instagram typo that led to the creation of #RoarBacon.
Because it’s a real live animal, it does real live animal things like, you know, pooping. And since there are no “Pigs Only” bathrooms at the Blues’ rink, Mr. P. Smalls decided to use head coach Ken Hitchcock’s office to do his business.
The pig's name is "Piggy Smalls." Backes said that it took a poop in Hitch's office and then admitted some players have wanted to do that.

Hitchcock confirmed, saying, "I don't know if that's a message from the players or from the pig. It was very clear and had a great aroma," via Jeremy Rutherford of the Post-Dispatch.
Just keep Piggy Smalls away from an apparently hungry Ryan Reaves.
