A bit of a scary scene at the Detroit, Vancouver game Sunday afternoon involving Canucks forward Alex Burrows.
The agitating winger got cut on the left side of his face by the skate of Detroit forward Johan Franzen.
The video please:
Burrows wears a visor, which goes to show that while such equipment is important, it doesn't save all.
Love or hate Burrows -- and everyone has an opinion on the dude -- but you never like to see that.
One of the cooler moments in this -- if there is a cool moment when a guy gets cut with a skate -- is watching Franzen check on Burrows to make sure that he's OK. There's always sort of a 'code' amongst hockey players, and it was nice to see it in action.
