AHLer scores goal of the year candidate with lacrosse move (Video)
Not long after their parent clubs played one another, the AHL’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins beat the Hershey Bears in a wild 6-5 overtime game.
Long before Will O’Neill was the game’s hero, Penguins forward Kael Mouillierat opened the scoring in quite unique fashion. Just 111 seconds into the game, Mouillierat pulled the lacrosse move to beat Justin Peters.

Mouillierat is no stranger to the lacrosse-style scoring play. One year ago Tuesday, he pulled it off while a member of the Bridgeport Sound Tigers:
He also did it in 2011 while in the ECHL:
Memo to goaltenders out there: If Kael Mouillierat is behind your net with the puck, expect the unexpected.
