Adam Burish loses equipment, denied access to opposing bench to get it (Video)

After a delay in receiving a work permit, Adam Burish made his debut for the Malmo Redhawks of the Swedish Hockey League on Friday. They lost 3-0 to Djurgarden, and the former NHLer learned what not to do when losing equipment during a game.

In the second period, Burish was shoved along the bench, and according to the forward a couple of Djurgarden players pulled his stick and glove of of his hand.

When play stopped, he went to try and retrieve it, believing he had an open invite to peruse the area. “I wanted to see if they wanted to do something about it,” he said afterward.

Well, guess the Djurgarden players weren't so welcoming.
