Washington fan commemorates her beloved Redskins on her very long fingernails

We're well on the way to establishing that the Washington Redskins have the most off-center fanbase in NFL football. First there was the loon diving into his Christmas tree to celebrate the win over the Cowboys, and now, well, this:

Meet Pepper Cox, a D.C. resident who's painted her nine-inch fingernails in Redskins burgundy and gold. That's more than eight feet worth of fingernail on her hands — 97 inches, to be exact, according to MyFoxDC.

Cox began growing the nails as a young teen, 11 years ago, and hasn't cut them since. She works in IT for the federal government, and can both type and crochet with her nails. Her favorite player? Robert Griffin III ... or, perhaps, RGIIIIIIIIII.

The Redskins play the Seahawks on Sunday afternoon. The devoted-fan bar is set, Skins fans. Who's going to clear it now?
