Tom Brady offers April Fools' Day reminder of Michael Jordan's greatness

Tom Brady makes light of his pickup basketball game with Michael Jordan. (Facebook)

This week in the chronicles of "Why Tom Brady's Life Is The Greatest" we followed the Super Bowl MVP as his supermodel wife, Gisele Bundchen, videotaped him cliff diving in the Caribbean, he played pickup basketball with Michael Jordan and he concluded his vacation with a golf win in a foursome that included MJ, 2011 PGA Championship winner Keegan Bradley and former PGA Player of the Year Luke Donald.

Conspiracy theorists may have noticed Brady wasn't wearing a knee brace on the basketball court.

But the Patriots quarterback was sporting some knee support on the golf course the next day.

So, as New Englanders wondered if — and NFL fans elswehere hoped — the 37-year-old QB somehow suffered an injury to the same left knee in which he tore his ACL in 2008 while living out every red-blooded American man's fantasy this week, Brady trolled them all on Facebook. He (or his social media expert) Photoshopped an April Fools' Day image of himself in a hospital bed with the greatest basketball player ever's signature on the leg of his full-body cast and the caption: "Jordan's crossover is no joke!"

There you have it, folks. Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. is alive and well, and his life is still the greatest.
