Terry Bradshaw blasts Jerry Jones, Greg Hardy

Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw, a longtime commentator on Fox's pregame show, had pointed words for Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Greg Hardy and team owner Jerry Jones on Sunday:

"Anybody, in my opinion, that lays a hand on a woman, I don't care who you are my friend, you never come back in this league," said a passionate Bradshaw. "But Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, in his desperation to get a pass rusher, said, 'Well, you know what America, Cowboy fans, he's alright, he's a good boy, we're going to get him all straightened out over here and bring him in here.' Which he did.

"[Hardy] has his first news conference, he makes a fool of himself, and Jerry goes out and...basically becomes an enabler himself. This is wrong. We have no place for this, and I'm actually tired of talking about the Hardys of the world, and I really, really, seriously hope that eventually we never have a place in the NFL for people that touch a woman, strike a woman."

(We applaud Bradshaw for his words, but the video is also worth watching for his impression of Jones.)

The NFL had its vice president of social responsibility (yes, that's her title) go on the record with NFL.com to say that it disagreed with Hardy's comments from earlier this week, but Bradshaw is the highest-profile voice to strongly decry what Hardy said and the head-scratching comments of Jones, seemingly in Hardy's defense.
