Robert Griffin, Rob Gronkowski headline Week 15′s injury roundup

Washington Redskins first round quarterback Robert Griffin was "full participant" in Friday's practice and is listed as "questionable" on the team's final injury report of the week. Griffin has a "mild" sprain of the lateral collateral ligament in his right knee and a decision on whether or not he starts against the Cleveland Browns will be determined this weekend, but one factor that could impact that decision is a report from Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com that Griffin has partaken in individual drills only. If Griffin is unable to play, fourth round pick Kirk Cousins would make his first NFL start. In addition to Griffin, left tackle Trent Williams (thigh) and inside linebacker London Fletcher (ankle) were also listed as "questionable". The Browns have a relatively clean injury report, practicing with all 53 players on Friday and listing nine players, including first round running back Trent Richardson (chest, rib, finger) , left tackle Joe Thomas and right guard Shawn Lauvao (foot).

Green Bay Packers safety Charles Woodson (collarbone) had already been ruled out and Friday he was joined by wide receiver Jordy Nelson (hamstring), running back James Starks (knee) and defensive end C.J. Wilson (knee). Guard T.J. Lang was listed is questionable due to a hip injury that could keep him out of a second consecutive game. The Chicago Bears have ruled out wide receiver Earl Bennett (concussion), middle linebacker Brian Urlacher (hamstring) and Tim Jennings (shoulder), with first round defensive end Shea McClellin (knee) and defensive tackle Henry Melton (chest) listed as "doubtful". Quarterback Jay Cutler (knee/neck) practiced fully on Friday and is expected to start against the Packers.

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski returned to practice on Friday and is "questionable" with forearm and hip injuries. In total, nineteen Patriots are "questionable", including wide receivers Wes Welker (ankle) and Brandon Lloyd (knee), tight end Aaron Hernandez (ankle), starting offensive linemen Dan Connolly (back), Logan Mankins (ankle/calf) and Sebastian Vollmer (back/knee), defensive end Chandler Jones (ankle), linebackers Dont'a Hightower (hamstring) and Brandon Spikes (knee/ankle), cornerbacks Kyle Arrington (ankle), Alfonzo Dennard (hamstring) and Aqib Talib (hip) and safety Patrick Chung (shoulder/hamstring). All have a "50-50" chance of playing against the San Francisco 49ers, who listed wide receiver Mario Manningham as "doubtful" with a shoulder injury that kept him out of last Sunday's 27-13 win over the Dolphins.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is "questionable" with a fractured left index finger that would have ended his season had the team not been in the hunt for the playoffs.

"The position that we are in, that makes me want to be out there," Bryant said via ESPN Dallas. "If there was anything less than what we got a chance of, I would have went ahead and got surgery."

The Cowboys ruled nose tackle Jay Ratliff (groin) out for the Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, with guard Nate Livings (concussion), outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware (elbow) and cornerback Morris Claiborne (concussion) are "questionable". For the Steelers, cornerback Ike Taylor (ankle) has been ruled out, as has guard Willie Colon (knee) and second round right tackle Mike Adams (ankle). Cornerback Cortez Allen, who has played in over 50 percent of the Steelers' snaps on both defense and special teams, is "doubtful" with a groin injury.

The New York Giants will be without running back Ahmad Bradshaw, who was unable to practice this week due to knee and foot injuries. With Bradshaw out, the Giants will lean on first round pick David Wilson, who had 13 carries for 100 yards and two touchdowns in last Sunday's win over the New Orleans Saints. The Giants also ruled safety Kenny Phillips (knee) and starting cornerback Price Amukamara (hamstring) out for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons, who listed wide receiver Roddy White (knee), safety William Moore (hamstring) and defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux (ribs) as "questionable". Cornerback Asante Samuel is "probable" with a shoulder injury that has limited him to three snaps over the last two games.

The Baltimore Ravens have ruled out inside linebacker Jameel McClain (neck) for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos, with tight end Ed Dickson (knee) listed as "doubtful". Eight Ravens are questionable, including Pro Bowl guard Marshal Yanda (ankle), linebackers Terrell Suggs (biceps) and Dannell Ellerbe (ankle), cornerback Jimmy Smith (abdomen) and safety Bernard Pollard (chest). For the Broncos, right guard Chris Kuper (ankle) and linebacker Wesley Woodyard (ankle), who missed last Thursday night's win over the Oakland Raiders, are "questionable".

Five Indianapolis Colts have been ruled out, including starting center Samson Satele (ankle) and right tackle Winston Justice (biceps), with A.Q. Shipley to start for Satele and Jeff Linkenbach replacing Justice in the starting lineup. Running back Delone Carter (ankle), linebacker Kavell Conner (hamstring) and safety Tom Zbikowski (knee) will also miss this Sunday's critical game against the Houston Texans, whose lengthy injury report includes two plays — cornerback Alan Ball (foot) and linebacker Brooks Reed (groin) — as out. Right tackle Derek Newton (knee), inside linebacker Daryl Sharpton (toe) and safety Glover Quin are "questionable". Glover landed on the report when he was limited on Friday due to a hip injury.

The Seattle Seahawks will be without a pair of cornerbacks when they travel to Toronto to take on the Buffalo Bills. Nickel cornerback Marcus Trufant will miss a second consecutive game with a hamstring injury, while Walter Thurmond, who missed most of the season as he recovered from a broken leg, is also out due to a hamstring injury. Without Thurmond and Trufant, out and Brandon Browner serving the second game of a four-game suspension, the Seahawks will start sixth round pick Jeremy Lane opposite Richard Sherman. As expected, Bills center Eric Wood (knee) has been ruled out with nine others listed as "questionable". Those with "50-50" shots of playing against the Seahawks include guard Andy Levitre (knee), defensive tackle Spencer Johnson (knee), defensive end Mark Anderson (knee), linebackers Nick Barnett (knee), cornerback Leodis McKelvin (groin) and safety Jairus Byrd (shin).

New Orleans Saints right tackle Zach Strief (ankle), safety Malcolm Jenkins (hamstring), and running back Chris Ivory (hamstring), have been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Also out are "swing" tackle Charles Brown, who has a knee injury, and rookie cornerback Corey White, who had played a key role on defense over the first part of the season before he injured his knee. With Strief and Brown both out, William Robinson will start at right tackle. The Buccaneers listed defensive end Da'Quan Bowers (hamstring) and cornerback LeQuan Lewis (knee) as "questionable".

Minnesota Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield (knee) did not practice again on Friday and is listed as "questionable" for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams. Running back Adrian Peterson (abdomen) returned to practice, so Winfield was on the only member of the 53-man roster to not take the field on Friday and is the only Vikings player whose status for Sunday will be determined on Sunday, though head coach Leslie Frazier expects Winfield to play against the Rams, who should have wide receiver Danny Amendola (foot), middle linebacker James Laurinaitis (back) and cornerback Cortland Finnegan (ankle) on Sunday. Laurinaitis, who has not missed a play this season, and Finnegan missed Wednesday and Thursday, while Amendola was limited. All three, along with running back Steven Jackson (foot), are listed as "probable" on the Rams' final injury report of the week.

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey has ruled out three running backs for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. As expected, Maurice Jones-Drew (foot), Rashad Jennings (concussion) and Jordan Todman (calf) will not play, nor will cornerback Aaron Ross (calf) and defensive end George Selvie (concussion). Keith Toston and Richard Murphy are the top backs in the Jaguars' backfield, but the Jaguars could put the ball in the air more as Cecil Shorts has been cleared to return from a concussion. Shorts has 43 receptions for 824 yards and seven touchdowns this season. In other Jaguars news, undrafted rookie guard Austin Pasztor was signed off the practice squad and will start at left guard on Sunday. The Dolphins have ruled out wide receiver Davone Bess (back) and outside linebacker Koa Misi (ankle) for the Jaguars' game.

The Kansas City Chiefs have already ruled out wide receiver Dwayne Bowe, who has injured ribs and is a candidate to be placed on season-ending injured reserve. Chiefs safety Abram Elam (quadriceps) is "doubtful" and left tackle Branden Albert (back), left guard Jeff Allen (thumb) and center Ryan Lilja (knee) are "questionable". For the Oakland Raiders, defensive tackle Richard Seymour (knee/hamstring) and safety Tyvon Branch (neck/ankle) did not practice on Friday and are listed as "questionable" on the team's injured report.

Three Carolina Panthers have been ruled out for Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers, most notably running back Jonathan Stewart, who is battling an ankle injury. Center Geoff Hangartner, who has been starting for Pro Bowler Ryan Kalil (who is on injured reserve), is out with a foot injury and will be replaced in the starting lineup by Jeff Byers. Defensive tackle Dwan Edwards will miss the Chargers' game with a wrist injury. Wide receiver Brandon LaFell (toe) and linebacker James Anderson (back) are "questionable". Four Chargers, including starting left guard Tyronne Green (hamstring) and right tackle Jeromey Clary (knee), are "doubtful" for Sunday's game. Rookie left tackle Mike Harris (ankle) is "probable".

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Early Doucet (concussion) is out and two-third of the team's starting defensive line — Calais Campbell (calf) and Dan Williams (hamstring — are "questionable" for Sunday afternoon's game against the Detroit Lions. For the Lions, tight end Brandon Pettigrew (ankle) and defensive tackle Nick Fairley (shoulder) are "doubtful", while safety Louis Delmas (knee) is "questionable". Though they were both limited in this week's practices, wide receiver Calvin Johnson (knee) and cornerback Chris Houston (hamstring) are "probable" and are expected to play.
