Mike Jenkins, Janoris Jenkins headline late game NFL inactive lists

St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola will return to the lineup on Sunday. Amendola has not played since spraining an SC joint while laying out in attempt to haul in a 22-yard pass against the Arizona Cardinals on Oct. 4. The injury was expected to keep Amendola, a restricted free agent, out six weeks, but he nearly returned for the Rams' 45-7 loss to the New England Patriots in London, England on Oct. 28.

Even though Amendola has missed the last three games, he still leads the Rams with 32 receptions, 395 receiving yards and his two touchdowns are tied with Brandon Gibson and Chris Givens for the team lead.

The Rams will also get left tackle Rodger Saffold back in action. The 2011 second round pick has missed the last six games with a knee injury. Inactive for the Rams are Givens and fellow rookie Janoris Jenkins, both for violating team rules, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispath reports.
