New Jaguars logo introduced in Jacksonville

The Jacksonville Jaguars kicked their offseason makeover into motion on Tuesday, unveiling the first logo change in the franchise's 18-year history. As you can see, the cat got a little bit of Botox and the result is a more colorful and pulled-back look.

Maybe he got a reference from Jerry Jones?

Also worth noting: The tint of his famous blue Kool-Aid tongue has spread to his eyes and nose and it definitely looks fiercer than the original. The fans of Los Angeles are going to love this whenever the team ends up moving there.

Oh we kid, we kid (though not really). Jaguars team owner Shad Khan says his team's rebranding effort should mark that the team is "proud, bold and committed." While no team logo can pull off a turnaround by itself, the old cat was in need of a makeover from its old mid-'90s look. We give it a passing grade.

What do you think of the Jaguars new logo?
