Fat guy reception! Arizona’s Kelemete makes a crazy catch off a deflection (VIDEO)

Most odd plays that include linemen running with the ball involve the same type of elements. A 300-pound man will find himself with the ball because of an interception thrown into his gut or a fumble that pops right up to him, and then he's off to the races ... at least until he gets caught by someone that can actually run, and everyone has a laugh.

There was no laughing when Cardinals right guard Senio Kelemete made his first career reception. It's hard to laugh with your jaw on the floor.

Kelemete made a "did he just do that?" play in the second quarter against San Francisco.

Brian Hoyer's pass was batted up in the air and back towards the line of scrimmage. San Francisco defensive lineman Isaac Sopoaga was camping under it for a fortunate interception that would have come right out of the fat guy football playbook.

Kelemete is a 6-4, 301-pound rookie from Washington. He followed the play, jumped in the air (it wasn't a Larry Fitzgerald leap or anything, but still), reached over Sopoaga and snatched the ball away.

Then, to add to the craziness, Kelemete tucked the ball away like this was a common occurrence for him, put his head down and bulled ahead for 10 yards and the first down. He added seven yards to his YAC stats with the effort.

Kelemete finished the day with 10 yards receiving. Don't laugh. Fitzgerald's longest catch against the 49ers on Sunday was seven yards.
