Epic Fail: Michael Vick gets a personal foul on a pick-six

This may be the single-worst play by a quarterback in NFL history, because we're pretty sure no quarterback has ever set his team back 114 yards. With 2:51 left in the first quarter and the ball at the New Orleans Saints' 6-yard line, Philadelphia Eagles signal-caller Michael Vick blew it in more ways than we thought possible for any quarterback to do.

The Saints, who had been far more creative with their blitzes through the early parts of this game, sent a defensive back from either side (Malcolm Jenkins and Roman Harper), and Vick threw a quick out to tight end Brent Celek on the left side. Linebacker Jonathan Casillas made a nice play on Celek, who inadvertently tipped the ball to cornerback Patrick Robinson at the New Orleans 1-yard line.

From there, it was Robinson off to the races, with an additional knife in the Eagles' collective hearts. As Robinson was running the ball back, Vick took Harper out with a low block (actually some sort of weird tackle attempt), and was flagged for a personal foul after the fact by official Clete Blakeman. The 15-yard penalty was assessed on the ensuring kickoff.

It was the 13th time the Eagles had turned the ball over in their opponents' territory this season. However, it was first interception Vick had thrown inside the opposing 10-yard line all year. Coming into this game, he was 4 of 11 for 15 yards and four touchdowns inside the 10.
