Let's take a pause from berating NFL officials for the poor job they've done this season to celebrate some good news: Leah Still, the young daughter of former Cincinnati Bengals defensive lineman Devon Still, is cancer free.

In a subsequent post, Still showed a picture of a pink bedroom, complete with new furniture, ready for Leah when she comes home from the hospital.

Leah Still was diagnosed with neuroblastoma stage 4 in June 2014, and though he left the Bengals to be with Leah as she began treatment, Cincinnati kept Devon on its practice squad at the beginning of last season as a means of ensuring he would still receive health insurance for his daughter (he wound up playing 12 regular-season games last year).

Over the last 17 months, Still has kept the public updated on Leah through his Twitter and Instagram accounts, and #LeahStrong became a familiar hashtag. The pictures chronicled her fight, on good days and bad, and inspired many.

This summer, ESPN honored Leah with its Jimmy V Perseverance Award at the ESPYs. Leah could not be there, but in an emotional speech, Devon thanked her for teaching him more in the five years since she had been born than he could ever teach her.
