Antonio Cromartie doesn’t want to do a reality show about his 10 kids from eight different women

Antonio Cromartie and his 10 children, Alonzo, Keris, A.J., Myjunia, Tyler, London, Leilani, Jurzie, Jagger and his "other daughter who just turned 4," won't be the subject of a new TV reality show, despite overtures from a production company that was interested in featuring the New York Jets cornerback and his eight different baby mamas.

The New York Post reports that a majority of the mothers were interested in the project, but Cromartie nixed an offer. He doesn't believe in the spotlight. Or protection.

The cornerback pays more than $3,500 per month to all but two of his children's mothers. He recently had his 10th child, Jagger, with his wife, Terricka, who's also the mother of Cromartie's youngest daughter, Jurzie. In all, Cromartie has nine children aged 4 or under.

This enables the Post to write paragraphs like these:

[Hotel employee Ryan] Ross first encountered another Cromartie baby mama when she brought newborn Tyler to visit the former-San Diego Charger at his apartment. She ran into Latoya Burley, of Houston, Texas, who was there visiting with daughter Deyjah, her first of two with Cromartie.

They hit it off. Ross now stays in touch with several other Cro baby mamas.

"We're not catty women. We have a close, tight-knit friendship and understand what each other's going through. We reach out to share news about the kids, to talk, to vent," she said.

Ross, of course, only wants to do the show for the sake of the children. "I love [the idea]," she told the Post. "Our kids need to know who their siblings are. It's bigger than our past with Antonio. It's about our children."

Cromartie gained a small measure of Internet infamy when he had trouble reciting all of his children's names for HBO's "Hard Knocks." He started off on a roll but soon struggled, forgetting the name of Deyjah, now 4, and completely ignoring Antonio Jr.
