Adidas awards $100K to three fastest NFL players wearing its shoes

So Adidas couldn't give out their leopard Porsches.

Instead, the three fastest men at the NFL scouting combine to wear the company's shoes — Michigan State cornerback Trae Waynes, Miami (Fla.) wide receiver Phillip Dorsett and West Virginia receiver Kevin White — each will earn $100,000 for their blazing 40-yard dashes, Adidas announced.

They're better off, really, considering the cars were valued at less than $100K apiece.

Waynes capped off the combine festivities on Monday with a defensive back-best time of 4.31. Dorsett and White turned in times of 4.33 and 4.35, respectively.

But here's the rub: They were not officially the three fastest players in Indy.

Diminutitve J.J. Nelson of UAB scorched a 4.28, and Georgia's Chris Conley turned in a shockingly good workout, tying White's number. Apparently, neither player were wearing the company's UNCAGED adizero 5-Star 40 kicks.

Nonetheless, Adidas has signed quite the impressive haul of 2015 draft prospects. Including some really fast ones.
