Vandals tag Texas campus with Texas A&M graffiti

Who says the rivalry between Texas and Texas A&M is dead?

The two teams might no longer play on the gridiron, but that didn't stop some vandals from covering a couple Texas buildings with A&M graffiti.

The words "Howdy," "gig 'em," "farmer's fight" and "SEC" were spray painted around the Tower and the Flawn Academic Center. The Jefferson Davis and Woodrow Wilson statues also were tagged.

Vandals also left the phrase: "Do you miss us yet?" in red spray paint.

Police are looking into the incident, but no arrests have been made.

It's an awful long way to drive just to taunt your rivals, but the way the Aggies are performing in the SEC this season does give them a little something about which to brag.

We're just happy to see that old rivalries die hard.
