Utah State took a hit to its offensive line.

In a release, Aggies head coach Matt Wells announced that guard Tyshon Mosley has been dismissed from the program. The dismissal stems from a violation of team rules.

Mosley, a 6-foot-5, 305-pound rising junior, started 20 games for the Aggies over the past two seasons. After redshirting his first season in 2013, Mosley appeared in all 14 games, starting 11, at left guard in 2014 as a redshirt freshman.

Mosley was one of three USU players suspended for the first two games of the 2015 campaign, also for violating team rules. Mosley excelled upon his return. In 10 games and nine starts, Mosley did not allow a single sack. He also earned honorable mention all-Mountain West honors.

Coming off a 6-7 record in 2015, Utah State opens its 2016 season at home against Weber State on Sept. 1.
