New uniform alert: Tennessee Tech unveils new kits

Now that Oregon has inspired a high school team to unveil this "unique" uniform, all bets are off when it comes to new uniform designs.

Tennessee Tech will have a new uniform for its game against Oregon this week (and the Ducks, of course, are expected to have something new too), the school announced on its web site, TTUSports.com.

The uniforms aren't bad. The understated golden eagles design on the sleeves and down the side of the uniform is a nice touch. The helmets are sharp, and the school says they are a tribute to the 1972 team that won the Ohio Valley Conference wearing a similar look.
