The Kliff Kingsbury legend grows after answer to inquiry about recruits' moms flirting with him

How does Texas Tech coach and Ryan Gosling twin Kliff Kingsbury respond if and when the mothers of players he is recruiting flirt with him on recruiting trips?

Well, Kingsbury is certainly not against it. He was asked if a single mom has ever flirted with him on a recruiting trip on the Dan LeBatard Show on Tuesday, and Kingsbury gave a priceless answer.

"Yeah, yeah that's kind of -- you've got to play to your strengths," Kingsbury said. "So I kind of encourage that a little bit. It's part of the deal, man."

We can't blame the man for taking advantage of his noteriety for being a Gosling lookalike. When he mentioned the Gosling comparisons, he coolly stated that "it could be worse, for sure."

Yes, it can always be worse than being compared to one of the biggest actor heartthrobs in the world.

But this flirting thing is a whole new aspect to recruiting, isn't it? Besides the whole Gosling thing, there aren't too many single head coaches in college football. Kingsbury is one of them and he's 34 years old. You're not going to find too many moms attempting to woo Art Briles and Gary Patterson. If it's a tactic that starts earning Kingsbury more recruits, other Texas and Big 12 schools are going to have to re-evaluate their recruiting practices.

And if Kingsbury is getting a lot of flirting practice on the recruiting trail, it makes him even more of a perfect fit for the next season of "The Bachelor." Yes, a show appearance would cut into his recruiting trips, but he could potentially find love and elevate Tech's status in the minds of many mothers of recruits watching the show. It's a win-win.
