TCU’s new horned frog statue outside the stadium is pretty scary looking

We may have the first stadium statue that will freak people out as they walk by.

TCU put pictures of its new eight-foot long horned frog statue, outside Amon G. Carter Stadium, on its Instagram account. And it is intense.

The statue might be guarding the front gate more than inviting people in. This isn't exactly Harry Caray welcoming folks to Wrigley Field.

The statue is huge and pretty intimidating. If nothing else it's pretty unique. Most stadium statues are of smiling athletes or coaches at their best moments. This one is something much different than that. But we like it, the statue is really well done and it certainly will become a gathering point outside the stadium for TCU fans.

But don't get too close to it, just to be on the safe side.
