There was plenty of reaction to the firing of Baylor coach Art Briles on Thursday, including a decommitment from one Baylor recruit. Kedrick James, a four-star tight end, announced that he would open up his recruitment. He had been verbally committed to the Bears since July 2015

Art Briles’ daughter posted an emotional reaction to the ordeal on Facebook.

Les Miles posted a tribute to LSU’s live Tiger mascot, Mike. Mike was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and is undergoing treatment.

Ohio State had a fun day to wrap up the spring semester. Part of the festivities included a softball game, where strength coach Mickey Marotti showed off his home run power.

The Sun Belt announced an affiliation with the Arizona Bowl for the 2016 season. The game, which will be played on Dec. 30 in Tucson, will have a Sun Belt team square off with a Mountain West squad.

Former Auburn offensive lineman Jordan Diamond announced that he will finish out his college career at Miami (Ohio), As a graduate transfer, Diamond can compete for RedHawks immediately.

Kendrick Edwards is staying in Arkansas. The former Arkansas Razorbacks wide receiver announced that he will continue his career at Arkansas State.

Ohio State completed its 2018 schedule by announcing a home game against Tulane on Sept. 22.
