Snoop Dogg, like most USC fans, can’t believe De’Anthony Thomas is at Oregon

Count Snoop Dogg (yeah, we know, it's officially Snoop Lion) among the USC fans lamenting that De'Anthony Thomas got away.

Thomas is the most exciting player in the country. Oregon's sophomore running back has just 10 carries, but 166 yards and three touchdowns. He has also turned two of his eight receptions into touchdowns. And don't forget he averaged 77.5 yards per carry in the Rose Bowl last season.

Snoop saw this coming.

Thomas played in one of Snoop's youth leagues, for the Crenshaw Bears in Southern California. Snoop noticed Thomas' incredible game-breaking ability right away. Snoop says he is the one that gave Thomas the nickname "Black Momba." (And The Oregonian points out that Thomas says that is his preferred spelling.)

In the interview on the Pac-12's web site, and transcribed by The Oregonian, Snoop sounds like any other frustrated fan that Thomas didn't end up with his Trojans:

"SC, y'all should've known better than to let him fly out there to Oregon to go see all that Nike and all them uniforms and all that style, all that flavor."
