The domestic violence charges against Ole Miss offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil and his stepfather, Lindsey Miller, are likely to be dropped by Monday.

According to The Clarion-Ledger, both attorneys have agreed to have their clients sign dismissal forms that the judge will review on Monday.

Tunsil's lawyer, Steven Farese, told the paper he expects the judge to approve the forms.

The charges against both men stem from a June 25 incident where Tunsil allegedly assaulted Miller while defending his mother. Miller claimed Tunsil became violent after he was confronted about his dealings with agents.

During a July 14 court hearing, Farese said an agent was present during the night of the altercation, but that Tunsil left the scene in a car rented by a friend who had flown from South Carolina to Memphis and had rented the vehicle to drive to Oxford where Ole Miss is located.

NCAA rules allow players to speak with agents as long as they do not accept impermissible benefits or sign with them.

NCAA officials did speak with Miller, who claimed to have knowledge of multiple violations committed by his stepson.

Tunsil is expected to be one of top picks of the 2016 NFL draft.
