QB recruit Jake Allen throws passes while hovering above water

Florida commit Jake Allen (Rivals)

It’s that time of year when recruits do crazy things that go viral on the Internet and we all marvel at the talent and absurdity.

This week, Florida quarterback commit Jake Allen linked up with Bleacher Report to show how accurately he could throw a football while hovering above a couple feet above the water. You know, one of those true-to-life scenarios.

OK, this is mildly entertaining if for no other reason than it looks like a lot of fun. Obviously, Allen’s form isn’t the greatest, but can’t mock his accuracy, especially without a stable base.

Allen, who attends St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is currently rated four stars by Rivals.com and is the seventh-best player nationally at his position.
