Oklahoma LB Alexander, Texas A&M OL Ifedi headed to NFL

Add two more to the list of players leaving school early for the NFL draft.

Both Oklahoma linebacker Dominique Alexander and Texas A&M offensive lineman Germain Ifedi both announced that they will forgo their senior seasons and declare for the 2016 NFL draft.

Alexander led the Sooners in tackles in each of the past two seasons. This year, he totaled 103 tackles, seven tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and one interception.

Alexander also had 107 tackles and six tackles for loss in 2014 and 80 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss in 2013.

The 6-foot, 220-pound Alexander is the second Oklahoma player to declare for the draft, joining cornerback Zack Sanchez.

Ifedi also revealed his decision on Twitter on Saturday.

The 6-foot-6, 335-pound redshirt junior has started for Texas A&M for the past three seasons, including the past two at right tackle. He started his career at guard.
