Marcus Lattimore leaves a video message for teammates and fans

Marcus Lattimore might not have been able to make it physically to Williams-Brice Stadium, but he made sure to let fans and teammates know that he was watching.

Prior to the game against Arkansas, Lattimore appeared on the video board to thank South Carolina fans and wish his team luck.

Lattimore suffered a gruesome knee injury against Tennessee on Oct. 27, which included a dislocated knee and severe ligament damage many thought might cost him his football career. But after surgery on Nov. 2, doctors are optimistic he might be able to recover. Unfortunately, part of that recovery meant not attending Saturday's game.

Still, Lattimore wanted to make sure everyone knew his progress was going well.

"I'm feeling fine and I'm working to get back on the football field," Lattimore said in the video.

South Carolina fans hope that field is in Williams-Brice Stadium.
